Betty Little Arts Park is a Splash Hit

Betty Little Arts Park is a Splash Hit

Plattsburgh, NY

This past Saturday, the City of Plattsburgh held its dedication and opening of the Betty Little Arts Park.

The Park, designed by Saratoga Associates as part of  a $1 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative, provides an outdoor canvas for local artists and community members, new seating, bike racks, and a splash play pad. The once under utilized space is now a catalyst for community events and leisure.

The dedication drew the City together, including the Park’s namesake former senator Betty Little, City Mayor Chris Rosenquest, City Councilor Jennifer Talon, City Councilor Elizabeth Gibbs, Senator Dan Stec, and Assemblyman Billy Jones.

We look forward to the continued success of the Park and many more community and arts events!
