+3D MODELING/PROJECT VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST

Saratoga Springs Office

Saratoga Associates is seeking a 3D modeling specialist to assist our design team visualize architectural and site development concepts. Project work will also include photo realistic visualization and 3D animation associated with visual impact assessment and regulatory compliance of residential, commercial, industrial and transportation development projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong skills in 3D modelling for architectural representation and photo realistic simulation and the ability to produce rendered imagery that effectively communicates design intent to clients.

Education:

Two Year degree in 3D visualization, CAD technology or commensurate experience in 3D visualization

Duties:

  • Collaborate with in house designers to provide 2D and 3D visualization of architectural and landscape design concepts
  • Develop renderings for visualization of design concepts across multiple application platforms.
  • Demonstrate the ability to contribute to the creative process from conception to completion, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects and meet mission critical deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proficiency creating high detailed architectural or industrial models using Autodesk 3DS Max and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs);
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects are desirable, but not essential;
  • Experience in creating photo-realistic renderings from 3D models including editing, retouching, texturizing/lighting and refining digital images;
  • Able to read architectural/engineering drawings;
  • Interest in investigating new methods of visualization technology;
  • Knowledge of photography and cameras; and
  • Clear communication and creative problem-solving ability;
  • Experience in GIS applications including ESRI ArcMap, ArcGIS (including Spatial Analyst) is desirable but not required.

Candidates must be a dynamic, hardworking, dedicated professional that can assist with community development, economic development, environmental planning, and visual resource projects.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

Requirements:

+JUNIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

Saratoga Springs Office

Saratoga Associates is seeking qualified local candidates to fill the full time position of Jr. Landscape Architect (5+ years experience) in our Saratoga Springs Office. Candidates must be capable of working on multiple project assignments from concept through construction documents. The position requires creativity and an ability to conceptualize complex site design projects and urban design efforts. The work will require the development of presentation quality images with proficiency in a variety of presentation techniques. AutoCAD proficiency required.

Education:

Professional Degree from an accredited academic program in Landscape Architecture

Duties:

  • Work collaboratively on diverse project teams that focus on a broad spectrum of site design and planning projects;
  • Independently develop and advance project objectives based on supervision by licensed professionals;
  • Participate in project meetings, public presentations and community outreach programs;
  • Execute design related tasks, technical deliverables and administrative assignments;
  • Preparation of site design and construction documents. 

Requirements:

  • 3-D modeling capability;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp;
  • Excellent design and presentation skills to develop computer generated presentation graphics, plans, data and reports;
  • Demonstrate dependability, positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • Demonstrate sound analytical, research, writing and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrate organized and self-motivated execution of responsibilities;
  • Demonstrate ability to provide construction observation and report on field conditions;
  • New York State Registration a plus;
  • Proof of US citizenship or permanent resident status.
