Crandall Park Phase I
The City of Glens Falls and the Crandall Park Beautification Committee engaged Saratoga Associates to support the first phase of revitalization efforts at Crandall Park.
This phase focused on the reconstruction of the sports courts, located adjacent to the park’s ballfields and sledding hill. The project area is conveniently located adjacent to Cole’s Woods, across the street from the Ice Center and YMCA, and within walking distance from the Kensington Road School, making it an attractive facility for both school students and the public.
Park enhancements included the reconstruction of existing basketball and tennis courts, the incorporation of pickleball courts, drainage improvements, and enhancements to seating, lighting, landscaping, and walkways. Saratoga Associates provided services for these enhancements from design development through construction. Concepts were also developed for a splash pad to be constructed near the existing playground area during a subsequent project phase.
