Our Commitment to Enriching Communities
As a professional design firm with deep community ties, we continue to navigate and adapt to the many challenges and uncertainties of the COVID-19 crisis. We are following New York State Department of Health guidelines for re-opening and have completed a Safety Plan outlining COVID-19 prevention.
While our doors were closed, we were busy preparing for this time of reopening. Our goal is for our employees and visitors to feel safe working in our office and to give others the choice to continue to work from home.
With this in mind, we’re sharing some of the actions we’re taking to help ensure the health and well-being of our visitors, our team members and their families, and the communities we serve. Collaborating with our team will look a bit different moving forward.
Here’s what you can expect:
Office Occupancy
Our staff has the option to work in-office or from home during the remainder of this crisis. We have a detailed schedule that limits our occupancy to less than 50% of our capacity. Meetings will be conducted via tele- and video conferencing to reduce contact.
Creating a Safe Work Place
We moved our desks and workspaces to allow social distancing. You’ll notice floor decals showing one-way circulation routes at six-foot increments, making it easier for you to judge proper physical distance.
Additionally, all employees and visitors will be required to complete a Health Screen Form. This Form is required as part of Saratoga Associates’ COVID-19 Safety Plan and New York State Department of Health.
Enhancing Daily Cleaning Procedures
We’re deep cleaning our work spaces and common areas daily. In addition, sanitizer stations will be added in common areas and we are following CDC hand washing procedures. Staff has been directed to sanitize common area technology and appliance surfaces after each use. Staff will additionally sanitize their work space at the end of the day, prior to leaving.
Protective Gear
Our staff will wear protective gear for their protection and yours. Staff members will wear face coverings when entering the office, walking through circulation routes, occupying common spaces, and any other time social distance cannot be maintained. If you aren’t feeling well, we kindly ask that you stay home and take care of yourself. We’ll be here when you feel better.
We’ll continue to listen to advice from local health and government officials, as well as feedback from our staff, consultants and clients, as we consider how we can best serve you while helping to limit the spread of COVID-19. Your health and safety is what matters the most.
Committed to You
