As part of its master plan, St. John Fisher College identified the need for a residence hall to accommodate its anticipated enrollment increase. Founders Hall—designed to reflect an original campus building, Kearney Hall—stays true to the College’s heritage and commitment to the future. Using input from a student committee, the 60,000-square-foot building featured 192 beds in single- and double-occupancy rooms and suites, a central lobby, a student concierge station, and social and educational spaces to encourage interaction and support summer residential conferences. The project included additional site improvements and accommodated a previously proposed campus loop road.
