Saratoga Associates transformed a windowless concrete building into a light-filled beacon at the heart of the HVCC Campus. As part of a comprehensive master plan, Saratoga Associates executed a complete renovation of the 80,000-square-foot building that included new dining facilities and kitchen, a bookstore, café, lounge areas, office suites and student activity areas. The new building envelope replaced the original cladding with an insulated glazing system and captured additional square footage at the ground floor by enclosing existing building overhangs. Dramatic entry vestibules provide a sense of arrival and identity at the edge of an important campus plaza.
