Confidential Client, Southern New York State
Saratoga Associates was commissioned to develop a Master Plan for approximately 300-acres of property. The design of the farm was taken to a point that would allow land clearing to begin with confidence that the farm buildings and pastures were in the proper locations.
The clearing plan was reviewed and approved by the local town planning board, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the County’s Soil and Water Conservation District. The completed report encompassed the program, siting of the proposed horse farm, as well as architectural and site design concepts.
The architectural concept was placed into an understandable scale through the use of three-dimensional cut-away views of the major program areas. In addition, the relationship of the horse farm to the adjacent residence was illustrated using a three-dimensional aerial model.
