The Massry Center’s music building will have a 400-seat recital hall, ensemble rehearsal rooms, an art gallery, classrooms, practice rooms and faculty offices. Designed to achieve a LEED® Gold rating, it balances efficient energy systems and environmentally responsible building materials with the rigorous requirements of a state-of-the-art music facility. Contextually, the building balances the typology and scale of the surrounding historical houses with the Campus building vocabulary, creating a delightful and inviting place for students and passersby alike.
